Ingredients
1 pound ground chicken
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, minced garlic, parsley, basil, oregano, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, and beaten egg. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Once the oil is hot, add the patties to the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess oil.

Variations & Tips
For a spicier version, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a chopped jalapeño to the mixture. If you prefer a more Mediterranean flavor, incorporate some crumbled feta cheese and sun-dried tomatoes into the patties. For a gluten-free option, substitute the breadcrumbs with almond flour or gluten-free breadcrumbs. You can also bake the patties in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, for a healthier preparation method.
