Since I started preparing this meal, my husband hasn’t asked for takeout!
Ingredients
1 pound ground pork
2 cups shredded cabbage
1 cup shredded carrots
3 green onions, sliced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated ginger
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions
1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
2. Add the ground pork and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Stir in the garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
4. Add the shredded cabbage and carrots to the skillet, stirring to combine with the pork.
5. Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, mixing everything together.
6. Cook for another 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Remove from heat and stir in the sliced green onions.
9. Serve hot, garnished with extra green onions if desired.
Variations & Tips
For a spicier kick, add a teaspoon of chili paste or a dash of red pepper flakes. If you have picky eaters, you can substitute the cabbage with broccoli or bell peppers. For a vegetarian version, replace the pork with firm tofu or tempeh. You can also add a splash of lime juice for a zesty twist.
