This is one of my favorite dishes ever. Every time I make a batch, it’s gone in minutes

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
2. Add applesauce and ground cinnamon to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk and eggs. Then, add this mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until a smooth batter forms.
4. Gently fold in the diced apples into the batter until evenly distributed.
5. In a deep saucepan or frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until 375 degrees. The oil should be about 2 inches deep.
6. Drop spoonfuls of the apple batter into the hot oil and fry the fritters until golden brown and cooked through, usually about 2-3 minutes per side. Fry them in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
7. Once fried, remove the fritters from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
